The Master of Business Administration (MBA or M.B.A.) is a master's degree in business administration, which attracts people from a wide range of academic disciplines. The MBA designation originated in the United States, emerging from the late 19th century as the country industrialized and companies sought out scientific approaches to management. The core courses in the MBA program are designed to introduce students to the various areas of business such as accounting, finance, marketing, human resources, operations management, etc. Students in MBA programs have the option of taking general business courses throughout the program or can select an area of concentration and focus approximately one-fourth of their studies in this subject.

Accreditation bodies exist specifically for MBA programs to ensure consistency and quality of graduate business education. Business schools in many countries offer MBA programs tailored to full-time, part-time, executive, and distance learning students, with specialized concentrations. Finding a scholarship for an MBA Degree can be challenging task especially for students from developing countries.  To help prospective MBA students, Student Network has prepared a List of International MBA Scholarships specifically for students from developing countrys.

2011 Aston Business School offers Scholarships for MBA Students, UK

Scholarships are only available to students applying for the fulltime MBA commencing September 2011
-Scholarships are only available for students who are self-funded (ie not sponsored by an organisation)
-All applicants will be informed of our decision early in August
-The decision of the Business School Scholarship Panel is final
-Aston Business School reserves the right to conduct a phone interview with suitable candidates

Scholarship Description: Aston graduates-A 10% discount on fees is available for all graduates of Aston University on all MBA programmes. 2011 International Exchange Program, Simon Graduate School of Business, USA

Scholarship Description: The Simon School offers International Exchange Programs to provide experience abroad to the students anticipating careers with an international focus. Students who participate in the program can receive up to 9 hours of credit towards their Simon M.B.A.  Students whose GPA is 3.0 or higher may apply to spend one quarter of their second year at one of the Simon partner schools. Students on academic probation or whose GPA is below 3.0 are not eligible to participate in the international exchange program. Students will take classes with native students as well as students from around the world. The program provides the opportunity to live and study in a foreign country, to further develop language skills, and to increase students’ multicultural awareness. Students may travel on exchange in the fall, winter, or spring term of their second year. As well, students may choose to go on exchange during the summer between the first and second year. For those partner schools not on the quarter system, the summer or fall terms provide the only options for participation.
