The German Marshall Fund in Brussels is seeking an intern to be involved in several GMF initiatives and programs related to foreign policy and transatlantic relations.
Internship description:
GMF Brussels awards a competitively paid internship to a highly motivated graduate. The primary responsibilities of the intern will be to provide administrative, event and research support on foreign policy, transatlantic affairs, and climate & energy related activities. The intern will also be asked to take part in the day-to-day running of the busy Brussels office. The intern will benefit from exposure to GMF’s network, its large high-level events and various policy actors. Interns may also attend various EU and transatlantic related events in Brussels.
Intern qualifications:
Fluency in English, additional EU languages considered an asset;
Excellent written and oral communication skills;
Strong interest in transatlantic relations with an emphasis on renewable energies;
Academic background in foreign policy and / or international relations;
Proficiency in Microsoft Office;
Flexibility to handle diverse administrative tasks;
Good research skills;
Familiarity with European institutions is essential.
