2011 PhD Positions in Faculty of Sciences at Scuola Normale Superiore, Italy

The Scuola Normale Superiore (SNS) is accepting applications for 31 PhD positions in the Faculty of Sciences.Spring and autumn selections will be held for the 2011/2012 academic year.The following are application requisites:
MS, MSc or equivalent. Candidates may apply prior to completing their MS/MSc, but must present their diploma by 31 October 2011
less than 30 years of age as of 31 October 2011

never to have been expelled from the SNS
not to have applied more than once for a PhD at the SNS
never to have been definitively sentenced to prison
results from the ETS – GRE – General Test and the GRE-Subject Test if the MS/MSc was not completed in a nation member of the European Higher Education Area.The application must be made on plain paper, in either Italian or English, using the format provided in the Application Form, accompanied by all required attachments listed on the Further Information pages, and signed by the candidate.
