The University of Guelph

The University of Guelph is a research-intensive school located in the city of Guelph, one hour west of Toronto. Established in 1964 the University of Guelph is a comprehensive institution that now offers nearly 100 different degrees. Guelph has traditional academic strengths in agriculture, vet science and life sciences.
 
The University also works in conjunction with Humber College in North Toronto. Guelph students graduate at the highest rate among Canadian comprehensive universities (at 89%). Among comprehensive universities, Guelph has been ranked near the top by Maclean's Magazine.

Housing: On-campus residence houses nearly 5000 undergraduate students and two complexes house 340 student families. South residence, the largest of all units was designed by architect John Andrews, who also designed Toronto's iconic CN Tower.


Guelph Campus Co-op: a non-profit child-care centre with 25 years of experience.
