Wilfrid Laurier University





Named for the seventh Prime Minister of Canada, Wilfrid Laurier University is a smaller institution in Waterllo, Ontario. The school offer small class sizes and an intimate sense of community among its students. Founded in 1911 as the Waterloo Lutheran Seminary, today Laurier offers a number of undergraduate programs in their 6 faculties. Laurier offers an interdisciplinary education that provides the flexibility for students to combine many different majors. 

At Laurier, scholarships for incoming students are available. No application required.






Housing: On-campus residence at Wilfrid Laurier University is available through their 16 residence buildings. About half of the students are housed on campus, and whereas the other half are housed immediately adjacent to campus. Residences are either available as apartment design or traditional dormitories. Grand River Hall Laurier's main residence guildings are Post House, Rizzo Building, Wilkes House, Lawyer's Hall, Lucy Marco Place, and Imperial Hall.
