Launched in 1994, the ISN (www.isn.ethz.ch) is a non-profit, internationally renowned network that serves the international relations (IR) and security community. It offers high-quality integrated information services; instructional design and e-learning; knowledge management; community building and network facilitation.
The ISN is looking for an online editor to join our editorial team. Together with your team members, you will 1) diversify and expand the ISN’s renowned digital library, helping to transform it into a dynamic, interactive, state-of-the art information service, 2) generate mixed media analyses of IR issues, and 3) establish close working relationships with our partner organizations.
To qualify for this position you will need to have 1) an excellent academic record in international relations, security studies or a closely related discipline, 2) knowledge of international affairs that goes beyond the issues that dominate the headlines, 3) excellent oral and written skills in English, and 4) the ability to work effectively in teams.
You should have a strong work ethic, a commitment to delivering quality results and excellent communication skills. You are a quick learner and thinker with experience in project management, an affinity for IT and a demonstrated ability to multi-task.
