The Journal invites
contributions in Macedonian or in Serbian, Croatian, English, German, French,
Russian and Italian. The accepted articles will be published originally or
bilingually. Short CV's of the authors should be submitted in
English.



ABOUT US:

The Journal was founded
in 2001 and since then there were published more than 400 articles from
numerous authors from the country and the region. "Filozofija"
publishes any kind of relevant philosophical articles and
translations of wide spectrum of the philosophical disciplines, such
as history of philosophy, metaphysic, epistemology and logic, ethics,
anthropology, philosophy of politics, aesthetics, philosophy of
mythology... It releases thematic issues four times a year. The Journal
cooperates with the Institute of Philosophy, Faculty of Philosophy - Skopje and
the Philosophical Society of Macedonia.



CALL FOR PAPERS:

Analytical philosophy is
one of the dominant movements in the XX century, especially in the Anglo-Saxon
speaking cultures. We say “movement” because it is hard to give satisfying
definition for its nature. But today we can say that the analytical philosophy,
as a style of philosophising, remains one of the main characteristic of the
Western philosophy. This modus of the philosophical discourse is often seen as opposition
of the continental philosophy. The discussions about the relationship between
analytical and continental philosophy started to occupy the academic circles in
the second half of the XX century and still continue. But in the passed few decades,
despite their differences, there are certain tendencies of their conversion which
indicates that drawing rigid line between them is unfounded. This leaves space
for possible shift in the philosophical discourse in the Western European philosophy
as a result of their mutual influence. Starting from these points, the Editorial
Board of the Philosophical Journal “Filozofija” decided its December’s edition
to dedicate to this topic.



SUBMISSION GUIDELINES:

The articles should
contain: the full name of the author, the title of the article in capital
letters, information about the academic status and the institution (if
applicable) and summary (200-300 words) in English, German, French, Russian or
Italian. The summary should contain the same data as the article (the full name
of the author, the title of the article in capital letters, information about
the academic status and the institution).
Deadline for submission
of the papers: November 1, 2011.
