“Union of the Electricity Industry ‐ EURELECTRIC" is the professional association which represents the electricity industry at pan‐European level. EURELECTRIC has a vacancy for a:
Stagiaire in the Environment & Sustainable Development Policy unit
to be based at its Brussels’ office
Requirements:
University Degree in environmental/energy field
Proven ability of analysing and handling statistics
Proficiency in handling Microsoft Office; including excel and word
A good understanding of the policy‐making activities of the EU Institutions
Knowledge of the databases of the EU Institutions
Experience in desk‐based & web‐based research
Professional capability in English
Flexibility and eagerness to work in a busy, dynamic international environment
Tasks:
Main responsibility: collection and treatment of data, contribution to drafting of two EURELECTRIC regular publications, Environment and Sustainable Development Report and Energy Wisdom Programme
Logistical support to Working Groups in the unit
Assisting Head of Unit and Advisors
The post is remunerated, and is available from September 1st for a period of six to twelve months.
